La Palina

La Palina Cigars logoWhen Samuel Paley opened his Chicago-based Congress Cigar Company in 1896, the first cigar brand off the line was La Palina, named in honor of his wife Goldie Drell Paley. After moving operations to Philadelphia, Samuel’s son William came on board, promoting the brand through the new medium of radio. Enamored with the new technology William went on to purchase his own radio stations which formed the nucleus of what became the CBS network. With this new emphasis on communications, the La Palina brand unfortunately faded into history. Yet all was not lost, as Samuel’s grandson, Bill Paley, has restored the brand to its proper place amongst the best cigars in the World. La Palina is definitely alive and well!

Each line of the La Palina brand features an impressive array of the finest premium tobaccos available, including succulent leaves from Ecuador, Nicaragua, Brazil, Honduras, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. From silky and mellow to velvety and sumptuously rich, these exquisite smokes offer something for all tastes.

The very essence of the La Palina brand is steeped in tradition and born out of a commitment to quality, with each cigar providing for the finest cigar smoking experiences available today. Sam Paley’s creations are in good hands with his grandson Bill and are truly better than ever. No matter your preferences, these treasures won’t disappoint!
