Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Umbagog Gordo (6.0" x 56)

When Steve Saka set out to create the award-winning Mi Querida, the first wrapper leaves were not up to his incredibly high standard, but were too good to just toss away. The solution to this conundrum: Use the wrappers on a new cigar that would offer cigar lovers a great smoke at a fantastic value. Thus the Umbagog by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust was born.

The Umbagog Gordo Gordo is a standout of the line that features the plush and now-famous Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper which surrounds a thick and hearty core of binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. Together these tobaccos form a tantalizingly rich 6” x 56 smoke.

The medium-to-full bodied adventure begins with a savory burst of pepper, cedar and spice which are joined by hints of dark chocolate and licorice on the way to a big and satisfying finish, that comes after a wondrously entertaining journey of well over an hour.

Named after one of Saka’s favorite fishing holes in his home state of New Hampshire, Umbagog is a cigar for the everyday cigar lover who just wants a straightforward and endlessly gratifying cigar. While these tasty treats come in bundles of 10 cigars, the Umbagog Gordo Gordo is more than a bundled cigar. It is just a darn good smoke… period.
