Music inspires us all at some time or another, but
nobody uses that inspiration quite like the folks at Crowned Heads. Listening
to Led Zeppelin’s “When the Levee Breaks,” the Crowned Heads team imagined what
it might be like to create a cigar that matched the primal, yet deeply textured
character of the song. And thus the Headley Grange was born!
Named in honor of the recording retreat where the
song was put to tape, Headley Grange cigars feature lush Nicaraguan binder and
filler tobaccos that are surrounded by an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf.
Assembled by cigar legend Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s all-stars at Tabacalera La
Alianza, the tantalizing 5” x 48 Hermoso No. 4 delivers a beautifully crafted
smoke of about 45 minutes.
Once the 90-rated Headley Grange Hermoso No. 4 is
aflame, thick leather, wood, coffee and spice flavors ooze onto the palate and
are joined by nuts, licorice and pepper. Waves of nougat and spice flow freely
as a delectable creaminess enraptures the taste-buds on the way to an
incredibly balanced grand finale.
The Hermoso No. 4 is ideal for those in search of
a lively, yet silky smooth medium-to-full bodied smoke. So fire up a Headley
Grange Hermoso No. 4, pour a pint or two of a fine English Porter and crank up
Led Zeppelin’s Fourth album and savor the pure sensory gratification!
