Slow StarterReview by GR
This is billed as a full bodied cigar but I found the first 2 inches or so to be milder than I would have liked. There was a bit of bitterness in the first half inch that may have been my fault for toasting the foot with a torch. The try using a soft flame on the next one I smoke. It is a small ring guage and the torch may have been toomuch heat. The cigar built strength as I smoked. The second third of the cigar hit full on medium and the finish was full bodied and peppery. The mildness in the first third had me wondering if this was going to leave me wanting a stronger cigar but in the end it blossomed to the point that I felt satisfied after smoking it. Overall, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. Will I buy another box? I'm not sure yet. I'll give it some more humidor time and see how it smokes in a few weeks. (Posted on 4/13/2018)
