+In Summary, I will go back to cigarscity.com to purchase more cigars as My experience with them was wonderful, and the box of cigars that I received was exceptionally FRESH.
My Story:
When I was first searching for my cigars, other online stores were seling my cigars for about 50-80$ MORE Than the prices that cigarscity.com was offering. When i had originally reached the site from my windows computer, I saw the prices, and I wanted to buy it, however, the site was having problem 'Creating a New User'. I dont know why but this was weird for me.
I Eventually guessed what the URL would be for me to reach the New USER creation option, and i manually entered it into the browser field, and I was able to create my new account. this was odd for me, but thought nothing of it at the time. I proceeded to make a 200$ purchase for a box of cigars, found an online 5% discount code , and made the purchase.
After making the purchase I did not seem to receive an email regarding my purchase... at the time, I was busy, so i left it alone...
The next day, I was not able to find the confirmation email still, and within the cigarscity.com user screen, it showed that my order was 'not fullfilled' yet. I panicked a bit, and searched online for experiences other folks had with cigarscity.com.
From my reasearch, I had found a bunch of BAD REVIEWS (that were recent) where the customers did not receive the products they purchased, or other customers mentioned they did not receive their full order... it seemed to be only a few OLDER GOOD reviews, but the recent reviews were bad.
After reading the reviews, I immediately made a call to cigarscity.com to Cancel my Order.... On the first call attempt, It seemed like maybe a bad connection, and after i declared that I wanted to cancel my order, it seems i was hung up on by a male, maybe jeff(?)...
I called back again, and I this time, maybe the connection was better, and I was pleasantly greeted by JOAN.
I had informed Joan that I wish to cancel my order. I told her(Joan?) that I didnt know if my order was being fulfiled or not, and that I didnt find any confirmation email in my Gmail account.. She proceeded towards cancelling the order , but while in the process, she mentioned , 'Oh, I just fulfilled this order, and it was ready to ship out.'
AFter she told me that, I was pleasantly surprised, and i asked her to NOT CANCEL the order anymore , since it was now fulfilleed and being shipped out. She mentioned, 'I will make sure this get shipped out today by USPS." That made me happy....
MInutes later, after getting off the phone, I checked my order status on the cigarscity.com web site, and my order said 'fulfilled' as well, it gave me a USPS Tracking number,.
The USPS Tracking web site told me that the order would arrive in 5 days. After eagerly waiting 5 days, sure enough, I received the order with some extra cigars that cigarscity.com had gave me, without me asking for it, and a pleasant hand written 'thank you' note.
I dont typically order boxes of cigars offf the internet, but The box of cigars i received was SUPER FRESH. Fresher than the single cigars that buy at smoke shops and such.. When you lightly squeeze the bottom end of the cigar, you can feel the leaves are flexible and mildy moist, without breaking...
All in all, I was extremely HAPPPY with my order. I will defintely order from them again... as a matter of fact, I fear that their prices may change, so I am going to purchase another 200$ box of cigars after i make this review...
I typically do not make reviews as my experience with online vendors is always so-so...
but anyways, I am really happy with cigarscity.com, and I am super glad i kept my order active instead of cancelling it. I almost cancelled due to some bad reviews i had read....
