When Pete Johnson set out to create a cigar for
the Tatuaje brand’s 10th Anniversary, he decided what better tribute
than to go back to the very beginning and re-set the scene to how it all
started. This concept of reincarnation has given us the Tatuaje 10 Year
Anniversary Bon Chasseur. This lavish stick is composed of nearly the same blend
as the original Tatuaje from way back when and is an aficionados dream!
Handmade at the My Father Cigars factory in
Esteli, Nicaragua under the watchful eye of Jaime Garcia, the 5 3/8 x 52 Bon
Chasseur is magnificently draped in an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf.
Lush Nicaraguan filler tobaccos are held in a thickly textured Nicaraguan
binder to complete the luscious core. The nearly an hour smoke will deliver an
astonishingly smooth smoke through the flawless draw.
Intense pepper flavors get the party started,
while leather, earth and cocoa gradually move in to the mix. Light touches of
coffee make way for broad spice flavors that steal the show. Medium in
character with sharp leanings towards full-bodied, the 10 year Anniversary Bon Chasseur
is as sensuous and savory as cigars get.
The Tatuaje 10 Year Anniversary cigars are
beautifully nestled in cabinet-style boxes making ideal gifts for special
occasions. While exuding wide-ranging flavors and textures, the Bon Chasseur should
be near the top of every connoisseur’s list of must-smokes!
