Avo is a name that stretches across both the Jazz and cigar worlds with equal magnitude, as Avo Uvezian translated his success as a composer into a passionate ambassador for all things cigars. Avo’s legacy lives on with a new breed of Avo cigar that has shot to the top of the charts! This is Avo Syncro Ritmo Special Toro!
Officially named the Avo Syncro South America Ritmo Special Toro, this curvaceous 6” x 60 beauty is crafted out of tobaccos from a whopping 7 different nations. An astonishing filler blend features tobaccos from Nicaragua, Peru, Honduras, Brazil and the Dominican Republic. These leaves are stuffed inside of a Mexican binder and superb Ecuadorian-grown wrapper leaf.
These tobaccos meld together and synchronize into a boldly complex medium-to-full bodied experience loaded with plush coffee, wood, nut and chocolate notes which elegantly prance over the palate like the maestro’s fingers tickling the piano keys for up to an hour and beyond.
With a recipe so vast that it requires tobaccos from nearly all of Latin America’s prime tobacco-growing countries, the Avo Syncro Ritmo Special Toro is an intensely rich smoke (one of the richest Avo’s to date) that will astonish even the most experienced aficionados with its hidden treasures.
The draw of this cigar was excellent and produced lots of creamy smoke. A strong medium cigar with a slight peppery-ness that came and went.
The only problem I had was wrestling the second band off of it before the fire reached it. Had to do some damage to free the paper both to my finger (I waited a bit too long) and the wrapper.
The creamy buttery smoke was consistent through out. Some complexity beneath. I would definitely give it another try. I think it would do well to let sit in the humidor for a few months to reach perfection.
