La Aurora cigars came to the world on October 3rd, 1903 thanks to a guy by the name of Eduardo León Jimenes. He was the son and grandson of tobacco farmers and while he appreciated the tradition of cigar growing he knew that he wanted to build a brand with a global dimension.
Then, when he was barely 18-years-old, Jimenes inherited land and with just half a dozen employees he started to go to work. It's been more than a century but today, La Aurora is known for quality cigars and tobacco thanks to a team of more than 1,000 employees.
