Mark Twain cigars exploded onto the scene to fill a gap in the cigar industry that was missing a great value-priced mild cigar that was both well-made and satisfying. Building on the success of the original, the folks at Mark Twain have delivered another stunning smoke that is richer in body and taste, while still being as smooth and satisfying as ever!
The Mark Twain Memoir No. 1 is a lengthy 7.2" x 54 stick wearing a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper leaf. Underneath are a plethora of hearty Nicaraguan filler tobaccos which are tucked neatly inside a Nicaraguan binder leaf. Combined, these tobaccos deliver an impressive hour and beyond smoke.
The Mark Twain Memoir No. 1 features a festival of wood, coffee and earth flavors that are supported by dashes of pepper and baking spice. Cocoa-tinged undercurrents melt into a gloriously creamy finish as the medium-to-full bodied smoke winds down to a most gratifying end.
Available in boxes of 20 massive sticks and 5-packs (when in-stock), the Mark Twain Memoir No. 1 will earn a place of honor on anyone’s favorite list who loves big, flavorful smokes without the big price tag. Light up a Mark Twain Memoir No. 1 after dinner as a fine counterpoint to starting your day with their Connecticut Shade-wrapped counterparts. No matter when or where you spark them up, these beauties will put a smile on your face!
We were introduced to these cigars in Florida while golfing, we are back home in Canada and have shared these cigars (Mark Twain memoir gordo) with our friends here. EVERYONE loves them and the price! FANTASTIC!
Started mild, picked up half way. Problem I had to watch each cigar unravel before my eyes while smoking them.....Would never buy again !!!
I've smoked a couple of these so far and found for the $3 per stick, they're awfully tough to beat. The first third presented the best foot forward in terms of flavor. Lots of leather and a little bit of sweetness at the end that was reminiscent of cocoa. The cigar is definitely an hour plus in terms of smoke time. If you want a cheap cigar for a yard gar or every day smoke, this is in the top tier for the price.
