The Asylum 13 is unique project that brings together a lifetime of cigar-making experience of co-founders Tom Lazuka and Christian Eiroa. With Eiroa’s masterful cigar crafting knowledge and Lazuka’s marketing prowess, the duo were able to create a cigar that was new and fresh, yet one that also brought the smoke that every enthusiast dreams about. This is the Asylum 13!
A true Nicaraguan Puro, the Asylum 13 Sixty is a husky 6” x 60 cigar that is just begging to be smoked. Toothy aged Cuban Seed tobaccos from the lush valleys of Nicaragua make up the filler tobaccos that are packed into a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. The build of the husky Sixty guarantees a smooth, easy draw and a gloriously even burn that delivers an amazing amount of taste.
The first light will bring thick cocoa and earth notes with some dark espresso undertones. The rich, full-bodied smoke will also be laced with spice along the hour and a half journey. The finish is long and lasting, yet clean on the palate making for a wonderful excursion away from reality.
The Asylum 13 Sixty will delight most fans of a full-bodied cigar and just might surprise those who wouldn’t normally go for a more robust smoke with its cool and silky smooth experience.
