Mi Querida is the follow-up to Steve Saka's delicate and impressive Sobremesa line of cigars. Darker, and some might argue more masculine, these cigars deliver more strength than Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust's initial offering.
A Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper encircling the filler tobacco offers a decent amount of toothiness and is dark marbled with a touch of oil. That wrapper covers a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-filler. All-in-all, you're looking at a 5.0" x 52 robusto cigar that's crafted in the same NACSA cigar factory that rolls the well-known Joya de Nicaragua cigars.
Because of the rare tobaccos used, Steve Saka warns cigar lovers these will be produced n limited amounts each year. As for the smoking experience itself, you'll encounter a decent amount of spice with many cigar connoisseurs noticing a good bit of leather. We call it a medium-to-full bodied cigar, as there are hints of fruit juice and even some cocoa that emerge as the cigar works its way to the nub.
