The GC Signature Series Robusto begins with a delectable blend of Cuban Seed filler tobaccos from Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. These leaves are surrounded by a Cuban Seed Honduran binder and an imposing Brazilian Maduro wrapper. The bold composition of these tobaccos makes for a luxuriously rich hour-long smoke.
The Kristoff GC Signature Series Robusto could very easily become unruly, yet the subtleties of blending and aging keep the beast in line. A true testament to the quality of craftsmanship by one and all at the Kristoff factory, the amazingly smooth smoke is jam-packed with complex flavors. Rich cocoa, espresso and roasted malt flavors are thick and ever-present while notes of wood, dried apricot and pepper build towards a big finish.
