While the original was manufactured in Honduras, this new take is made in Nicaragua at Rocky Patel's TaviCusa factory. The Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper sits on top of two binders and Nicaraguan long-filler tobacco. You're going to be impressed by the full-bodied experience this cigar provides and it's an excellent addition to the Patel line-up.
Look for hints of earthy notes along with some chocolate/cocoa type flavors from the wrapper. Some connoisseurs have also noted distinct nutty notes through all three-thirds of these 5.0" x 50 robustos.
