Saka’s exacting eye for detail so deeply scrutinized the luscious Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers destined for Mi Querida cigars that much of the tobacco was deemed unworthy. Saka, however, decided the remaining leaves were just too good to discard and set out to create a more affordable smoke that would put the tantalizing wrapper leaf to good use.
